Ms. Afif graduated cum laude from Pace University School of Law. While at Pace, Ms. Afif served as the Editor in Chief of Pace Law Review, was on the Dean’s List, and received the ALI-ABA Scholarship and Leadership Award. Ms. Afif also published the comment “Prescription Ethics: Can States Protect Pharmacists Who Refuse to Dispense Contraceptive Prescriptions.” Prior to joining the Law Offices of Seth J. Arnowitz, LLC, Ms. Afif clerked for the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Ms. Afif holds a bachelor of arts in design and communication from The American University and a master of arts in liberal studies from Manhattanville College. Ms. Afif is a member of the Connecticut and New York State Bars and practices in the areas of family law and litigation. Her family law practice includes divorce, matrimonial, custody, visitation, child support and civil union issues. Her litigation practice includes civil, commercial, personal injury, foreclosure and landlord/tenant matters. Ms. Afif resides in Stamford, Connecticut with her husband.
